This year, July 10th is the divine full moon day of Guru Purnima – Day of the Divine Teacher. The full moon light in July penetrates the heart and mind. It a powerful day to wake up the subtle impulse of devotion and spirituality.
Each year on this day, it is traditional to honor teachers and gurus. We seek the blessings of our teachers- those on the earthly plane and those who have ascended to spiritual realms. It is also the day to enliven our own inner Guru or teacher so that we may be guided effortlessly towards all of our goals.
This year our pundits will be performing a Vyas Guru Purnima Group Yagya on July 10th. This yagya generates blessings from Lord Vishnu first Guru of the Universe (Hari) and Lord Shiva the first Yogi of the Universe (Har).
The yagya will also include Masters of the Holy Tradition Puja, Purusha Suktam Abhishek and 1100 Names of the Divine Teacher Homa (fire yagya). The purpose of the yagya will be to enhance the spiritual growth of the sponsor and bring blessings from the enlightened Masters.
